Four O’Clock Gingerbread Martini
A festive twist to the classic martini, the Four O’Clock Gingerbread Martini is a holiday-inspired cocktail that combines the rich, spiced flavours of Four O’Clock Gingerbread Tea with the creamy sweetness of Irish cream, Kahlua, and vodka. Topped off with a gingerbread-crumble rim and a touch of maple syrup, this indulgent drink is perfect for seasonal celebrations or cozy evenings by the fire.
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- 10 teabags of Four O’clock Gingerbread herbal tea
- 60 ml (2 oz) Vodka
- 15 ml (0.5 oz) Kahlua
- 15 ml (0.5 oz) Irish Cream
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of Gingerbread cookie crumble
- Cocktail glass
- Martini glasses
Preparation for the gingerbread simple syrup:
- Mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water and bring water to boil then reduce heat to medium for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the 10 teabags of Four O’clock tea and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Let cool down syrup for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator (the syrup can be kept in the refrigerator for 2 weeks).
Preparation for the gingerbread crumble rim:
- Put 6 ice cubes in the martini glass for 10 minutes and then remove ice cubes.
- Pour maple syrup on a plate and gingerbread crumble in a separate plate.
- Dip sides of the martini glass with maple syrup, then dip in the gingerbread all around the glass.
Preparation for the cocktail:
- In a martini glass, pour 1 cup of ice cubes.
- Pour in vodka, Kahlua, Irish cream, and gingerbread syrup. Stir with a long cocktail spoon for 30 seconds. Strain the content in the rimmed martini glass.
