Are you familiar with turmeric? It is a perennial aromatic herbaceous plant native to South Asia. Orange-yellow in colour, this spice has a peppery taste. Did you know that turmeric is the spice that gives curry a strong taste? Moreover, it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits! Anyway, it is a component that contributes to the delicious taste of our Turmeric Cinnamon Herbal Tea Organic- Fair Trade!

Cinnamon, on the other hand, comes from the cinnamon tree, a 15 metre or so tree found in India. Although it was discovered in ancient times, it is still appreciated by cultures all over the world. Since its discovery, it is believed to have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. All the more reason to include this ingredient in your next homemade recipes! It is very likely that you will fall in love with this tea thanks to its happy blend of turmeric, cinnamon and black pepper. At least, you've been warned!

In this Golden Milk iced latte recipe, we suggest using almond milk when preparing your infusion. In addition to giving delicious nut and dried fruit flavours to this beverage, almond milk has the advantage of being lactose, gluten and cholesterol free. It is also rich in antioxidants and essential minerals, as well as being very low in calories. If you do not have almond milk, you can try this recipe with cow's milk, soy milk or coconut milk to give your latte an exotic taste.
