Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis, or if you have a liver disorder, or if you have any type of acute infection, or if you are taking immuno-suppressants. Do not use if you have high blood pressure. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Contra-indications: Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance, or if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or if you have inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and bile ducts. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Undesirable effect known: Hypersensitivity or allergy may occur. If this is the case, discontinue use.

Recommended dose

Adults: Use one bag per cup water, 4 times a day. Pour boiling water and allow to steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Take at the first sign of a cold or infection. Duration of use: consult a health care practitioner for use beyond one month.
