5 TEA MOCKTAIL RECIPES FOR THE ALCOHOL-FREE MONTH

February has finally arrived and, each year, thousands of Quebecers take on the 28-day alcohol-free challenge. This challenge, created by the Jean-Lapointe foundation, aims to promote well-being and the balance of healthy consumption. Indeed, people who participate cannot drink any alcohol for the entire month.

To start off this challenge, we suggest 5 delicious Four O'Clock® tea-based mocktails. These mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks, but they are just as tasty and will surely satisfy your taste buds !

 

Cinnamon and Apple Mocktail

INGREDIENTS

 

PREPARATION

  1. Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
  2. Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® SWEET CINNAMON ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
  3. Add the honey, then place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
  4. Pour the infusion in a glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Add apple juice and cider and mix.
  6. Place a cinnamon stick in your drink.
  7. Garnish everything with thin apple slices.

 

Alcohol-Free Mint and Mango Mojitos

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup of water
  • 2 bags of Four O’Clock® TROPICAL MANGO ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA
  • 2/3 cup of club soda
  • 2 tbsp. of simple syrup
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 2-3 mint leaves
  • 2-3 pieces of frozen or fresh mango
  • 1 slice of lime
  • 1 cup of ice

 

PREPARATION

  1. Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
  2. Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® TROPICAL MANGO ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
  3. Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
  4. Fill a shaker with the mango pieces, the lime juice, simple sirup and mint leaves.
  5. With the help of a pestle, crush the ingredients.
  6. Add the ice and the tea infusion to the shaker and shake it.
  7. Place the mixture in a glass (optional: you can strain the mixture) and add the club soda.
  8. Garnish with a slice of lime.

 

Non-Alcoholic Litchi Ginger Sangria

INGREDIENTS

 

PREPARATION

  1. Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
  2. Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® LYCHEE GINGER ORGANIC FAIRTRADE WHITE TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
  3. Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
  4. Pour the infusion in a glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Add the lemon-lime soda and cranberry juice.
  6. Stir and garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh cranberries.

 

Non-Alcoholic Cucumber Lemongrass Green Tea Gin

INGREDIENTS

 

PREPARATION

  1. Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
  2. Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® CUCUMBER LEMONGRASS ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
  3. Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
  4. Pour the infusion into a glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Add lime juice, non-alcoholic gin and tonic.
  6. Stir and garnish with a slice of cucumber and lime.

 

Non-Alcoholic Mint, Ginger and Lime Lemonade

INGREDIENTS

 

PREPARATION

  1. Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
  2. Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® GINGER LIME MINT ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
  3. Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
  4. Pour the infusion into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
  5. Add the lemon juice and the mint leaves. Mix everything.
  6. Pour the contents of the shaker into a glass and add the lemon sparkling water.
  7. Garnish with lime and lemon slices.
