5 TEA MOCKTAIL RECIPES FOR THE ALCOHOL-FREE MONTH
February has finally arrived and, each year, thousands of Quebecers take on the 28-day alcohol-free challenge. This challenge, created by the Jean-Lapointe foundation, aims to promote well-being and the balance of healthy consumption. Indeed, people who participate cannot drink any alcohol for the entire month.
To start off this challenge, we suggest 5 delicious Four O'Clock® tea-based mocktails. These mocktails are non-alcoholic drinks, but they are just as tasty and will surely satisfy your taste buds !
Cinnamon and Apple Mocktail
INGREDIENTS
- 2 tsp. of honey
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2 bags of Four O’Clock® SWEET CINNAMON ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA
- 1/3 cup of apple juice
- 1/3 cup of non-alcoholic apple cider
- 2-3 apple slices
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 cup of ice
PREPARATION
- Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
- Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® SWEET CINNAMON ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
- Add the honey, then place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
- Pour the infusion in a glass filled with ice cubes.
- Add apple juice and cider and mix.
- Place a cinnamon stick in your drink.
- Garnish everything with thin apple slices.
Alcohol-Free Mint and Mango Mojitos
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2 bags of Four O’Clock® TROPICAL MANGO ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA
- 2/3 cup of club soda
- 2 tbsp. of simple syrup
- Juice of half a lime
- 2-3 mint leaves
- 2-3 pieces of frozen or fresh mango
- 1 slice of lime
- 1 cup of ice
PREPARATION
- Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
- Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® TROPICAL MANGO ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
- Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
- Fill a shaker with the mango pieces, the lime juice, simple sirup and mint leaves.
- With the help of a pestle, crush the ingredients.
- Add the ice and the tea infusion to the shaker and shake it.
- Place the mixture in a glass (optional: you can strain the mixture) and add the club soda.
- Garnish with a slice of lime.
Non-Alcoholic Litchi Ginger Sangria
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2 bags of Four O’Clock® LYCHEE GINGER ORGANIC FAIRTRADE WHITE TEA
- 1/3 cup of lemon-lime soda
- 1/3 cup of white cranberry juice
- 1 slice of lemon
- 4-5 fresh cranberries
- 1 cup of ice

- Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
- Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® LYCHEE GINGER ORGANIC FAIRTRADE WHITE TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.

- Add the lemon-lime soda and cranberry juice.
- Stir and garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh cranberries.
Non-Alcoholic Cucumber Lemongrass Green Tea Gin
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2/3 cup of tonic
- 2 bags of Four O’Clock® CUCUMBER LEMONGRASS ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA
- Juice of half a lime
- 1/4 cup of non-alcoholic gin
- 1 slice of cucumber
- 1 slice of lime
- 1 cup of ice
PREPARATION
- Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
- Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® CUCUMBER LEMONGRASS ORGANIC FAIRTRADE GREEN TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
- Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
- Pour the infusion into a glass filled with ice cubes.
- Add lime juice, non-alcoholic gin and tonic.
- Stir and garnish with a slice of cucumber and lime.
Non-Alcoholic Mint, Ginger and Lime Lemonade
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2 bags of Four O’Clock® GINGER LIME MINT ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA
- 2-3 mint leaves
- 2/3 cup of lemon sparkling water
- Juice of a lemon wedge
- 1 slice of lime
- 1 slice of lemon
- 1 cup of ice
PREPARATION
- Fill a cup with 1/3 cup of boiled water.
- Place 2 bags of Four O’Clock® GINGER LIME MINT ORGANIC FAIRTRADE HERBAL TEA in the boiled water and infuse according to the time indicated on the envelope.
- Place your infusion in the fridge until it cools down.
- Pour the infusion into a shaker filled with ice cubes.
- Add the lemon juice and the mint leaves. Mix everything.
- Pour the contents of the shaker into a glass and add the lemon sparkling water.
- Garnish with lime and lemon slices.
