WOMEN'S MONTH : 9 DAILY SELF-CARE ACTIVITIES
Self-care…a concept often overlooked despite the impact on health and well-being. Many women no longer dare to take a moment to recharge and think about themselves for fear that they will appear selfish or simply because they lack the time to do so. It is often the first thing we sacrifice when time is short. Especially in a society where time is a rarity.
Nevertheless, taking time to do an activity that brings us joy is essential to maintaining our mental health.
Therefore, to celebrate Women's History Month, we suggest 10 wellness activities that can be done on a daily basis. In fact, some of them will only take a few minutes of your time !
1. Relax in a hot bath
Take a dip in a nice hot bath and use this moment to relax. Hot water will decrease muscle stiffness and allow you to unwind. This is the best thing to do after a busy day at work ! Feel free to light some candles and put on some relaxing music.
2. Make yourself a comforting tea latte
There's nothing better than a hot and creamy beverage to relax. A tea latte is a drink made with the tea of your choice and hot milk. This is also the best beverage to combat the winter cold.
3. Watch a movie in your favourite pajamas
Put on you favourite pajamas and take a moment to unwind while listening to your favourite movies or series. Above all, don't forget to grab yourself a treat while you enjoy your movie.
4. Read a book while having a relaxing herbal tea
Instead of spending 30 minutes on your electronic device before bed, take this time to read. It's a great way to relax your mind and help you sleep afterwards. 7. Do a homemade beauty treatment
Taking care of your body is a great way to take care of yourself. What could be better than making your own beauty treatment at home ? There are many masks, exfoliants and homemade cream recipes.
