APPLE CRUMBLE BLACK TEA SOUR COCKTAIL
The Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea Sour is a cozy, dessert-inspired cocktail that blends smoky whisky with the warm, spiced sweetness of a homemade apple crumble black tea simple syrup, balanced by a splash of fresh lemon juice. Shaken and poured over ice, it offers the nostalgic flavours of baked apples and cinnamon with a twist. Perfect for sipping on a crisp evening or adding a touch of warmth to any occasion!

Ingredients for cocktail :
- 60 ml (2 oz) whisky (can be replaced by non-alcoholic, ideally with smoky and peaty notes)
- 45 ml (1.5 oz) infused Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea simple syrup*
- 1 oz (30 ml) freshly squeezed lemon juice (adjust to taste)
- For garnish (optional): a thin apple slice, a cinnamon stick, or grated nutmeg

- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 tea bags of Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea
Preparation:
For the Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea simple syrup:
- In a small to saucepan, combine sugar and water and bring to a boil.
- Stir mixture gently until the sugar dissolves and turn heat to low.
- Add the 4 tea bags of Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea and simmer gently for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and carefully remove the tea bags with a spoon. Let cool completely.
- Transfer the cooled syrup into a glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid and keep refrigerated until use (or for up to 2 weeks).
For the Apple Crumble Black Tea Sour Cocktail :
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine whisky, the Four O’Clock Apple Crumble Black Tea simple syrup and lemon juice.
- Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass, or pour over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with an apple slice, a cinnamon stick, or a light dusting of nutmeg, if desired.
