Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries

  • 1/2 tsp honey

  • 1 tsp Four O'Clock matcha powder

  • 3 tbsp water

  • 1/2 cup soy milk

  • 1/2 medium banana, frozen

  • 1 tbsp of your favourite protein powder

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes

Directions:

  1. Combine the frozen raspberries and honey in a small bowl. Gently crush with a fork and let sit for 5 minutes until the raspberries release their juices and the honey soaks in.

  2. In the meantime, whisk matcha powder with water using a matcha whisk or a frother. Add to the blender along with soy milk, banana, and protein powder. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 45–60 seconds.

  3. Pour your raspberry layer into a chilled glass, followed by a matcha layer, and enjoy immediately. Optionally top with a pinch of matcha or a few fresh raspberries.

NOTES: For a whole-food protein swap, use 2 tbsp hemp hearts in place of protein powder. If your banana wasn't frozen, add 2–3 ice cubes for a creamier, thicker texture.
