Herbal Medicine for Cold Symptoms: Discover Our Herbalist Range

Looking for a herbal approach to cold-symptom relief? The Four O’Clock Herbalist Cold range combines plant-based medicinal ingredients in three naturally caffeine-free herbal teas. These formulas offer more than a warm cup: each has specific uses rooted in traditional herbal medicine.

Plant-based ingredients, medicinal purpose

Roots, leaves, flowers, and herbs form the medicinal ingredient lists of our Cold range. Each blend has its own formula and recommended use. The benefits described below apply to the complete blend, not to each ingredient individually.

What do expectorant and antitussive mean?

An expectorant helps loosen mucus so it can be coughed up. An antitussive helps relieve coughing. Always refer to each product’s recommended use and label rather than assuming the three blends are interchangeable.

Natural ingredients still require care

Plant-based does not mean suitable for everyone. These teas contain medicinal ingredients, and each formula has specific contraindications, precautions, adult dosages, and limits on duration of use. Follow the product label: brewing times and daily serving recommendations differ between blends.

Review all warnings before use. Consult a health care practitioner about suitability, particularly if you take medication, have a medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Some products must not be used in these circumstances. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
